Couldn't agree with you more. When my youngest daughter was only eight, our two sons, who are a little older, made a remark about their being "kids". I overheard her tell them that they were not "kids" but little people. I smile even now remembering that. Of course, that was in the days before midgets and dwarfs were referred to as little people. But the the thought is the same.

Naturally, she also "marches to a different drummer", even to this day.
