First of all,
If you're curious about anyone, then read what you can about them, especially what they themselves have written....whether you agree or disagree with them, the knowledge is power...
Second, addressing the making a great deal of money, from what you wrote, "But those evangelists get a great deal of money, some of them, out of mentally limited people, many of them poor. For those who just watch and feel better, hey, it's soma; but for some... well, it's just too costly and sad in a few ways," I agree, but evangelists are not the only ones.....turn on a home shopping channel sometime and listen....the callers who get on the air openly admit that they've spent, for example, thousands of dollars on imitation jewelry (and they just bought more!) and they many times think of the on air hosts as their friends, and the on air hosts encourage it....it's very sad.
So the taking of a great deal of money comes from many sources, not just the evangelicals....
And one more thing: Read the book...Knowledge is power.
