213 million total worldwide cellular subscribers added in Y2K. CDMA added only 25 million of those, so CDMA isn't gaining ground as fast as it was. emc-database.com Though that rate will increase as analogue dies on the vine and data kicks in with 1xEV, cdma2000 and W-CDMA gets going. This sure has been a project to make CDMA the world's connection.
