twfowler, are you saying that the fact that babies will be born to lives, mostly brief ones, of starvation and disease and brutality and neglect is no reason to help the prospective mothers who will witness these things happening to her baby have contraception and abortion?

1 - I never said anything about outlawing contraception.

2 - I was talking about outlawing abortion in the US. Actually if you include my posts about the constitutional question you would see that it really would have to be outlawed at the state level (or by a constitutional amendment). Do you maintain that there would be such a massive amount of starvation and disease and brutality in the US, if abortion was outlawed?

Suffering... it is nothing?

No, and I'm repeating myself now which I usually would rather avoid esp. on such a busy message base, I am just saying that killing someone is not justified based on the possibility that they might suffer in the future if you don't kill them.
