Tim,

Have you been to the Bay Area? They have 15 million people packed into about 300 square miles. They have absorbed hundreds of thousands of immigrants in the last decade alone.

Any place else in the US would have collapsed under those sorts of pressures. To suggest that the area has not been well governed is just plain wrong.

Maybe they should have left the growth management up to real estate developers?
