I concluded a long time ago that futures
were for Big players, the leverage is just
to much for a small player like me.
In a way I do use them when I play the
UOPIX or USPIX..but not in a way that
I can get "sold" or bought "in" by a margin
call on some surprise move.

As much as I've traded there are often
moves that exceed the limits of what
I think will happen, while they always come back
I can find myself "trapped" for several
days and surprised at the extent of the
move.
So I'm very careful with margin
and very seldom on it except to switch
things around.

Future players need deep pockets, or
they will find out what "table stakes"
are all about..& I've seen smarter people
than me go down the tubes playing them.
