'CGM.V' - you mean cmg.v right ... yes, someone else mentioned it since ... NB buying from Haywood, that's what Friday was all about there ... 'platinum-palladium properties', those are the magic words lately eh ... Rise's vpr.v was showing signs of stirring as well ...i've got two long tickers full of juniors on stockwatch, so many it's meaningless, the mind rebels, but here goes, adding cmg.

Got anything you like for atial's contest? - Message 15295107

nt-tech.com.au - well this turned my brain to jelly in about thirty seconds, don't understand the terms nor anything about programming ... i'm curious about Metastock, whether a knowledge of progamming is necessary for it ... an offline friend says it is, otherwise you don't get the full benefit, but i have noticed his picks having spotty performance even before the tech market turned last spring, then he bought the dip on qcom above 100 on some 'strong buy signal', ouch.

Your explanation of standard deviation makes sense sort of ... too many numbers for me ... "brother played with “Phil ‘n the Blanks”' - lol

Another question, dumb maybe - i've been noticing on stockcharts.com where they have both 200-day and 40-wk moving averages - stockcharts.com
.. that they're not the same ... there are five trading days per week, but i guess that doesn't allow for holidays ... still, it often makes more than a little difference to the numbers, and the most holidays possible in 40 weeks would be around six .. [?] ... ah, but the difference could also be explained because the weekly uses the close for the week as its data points, and being less data is cruder .. ? ... not that i think it matters, just didn't have anything better to worry about -g-
