The shampoo does have a copper peptide hair growth stimulator in it. And yes, it is an SODase, Tho this is not why it is blue <G>. This whole class of agents seems to have hair-growth-stimulating properties. At least in animal models, even Bovine liver SODase itself ( as the drug "Orgotein" ) prevents stress loss. And yes, Orgotein is blue too.

Ya don't even need the copper, just the activity-- There are other classes of SODases/radical quenchers that work by a different physical mechanism from the copper peptides. E.g., the pyridine-n-oxide spin labels such as TEMPOL. These lack any metal, are kind of golden brown in color, and yet are still useful in hair loss. E.g., Mitchel et al at the National Cancer Institute, tho I hold the patent.. And no, these are not likely to compete with Graftcyte soon.
