Your blood sugar didn't rise because you snuck up on your pancreas without it knowing...<g> a steady diet of sugar laced chocolate will guarantee a very high blood sugar count in no time..... I'm not diabetic, but I'm sure a regular diet of sugar laced chocolate might gurantee diabetes rather quickly.....<g> I would think the sugar in the chocolate would raise your blood sugar... chocolate can be made without sugar and can be sweetened with apple juice... yes, I've looked over the listings... frankly, I'm not sure what I'm looking at when I read the listings, there are two columns.....<g>

The only bread I eat is whole grain, unbleached, unbromated, whole wheat flour... millet bread with rice flour with basil and garlic added is also pretty tasty... I avoid any white potato but I would eat sweet potatoes... most any vegetable steamed is okay with a cup of rice is usually my lunch.....
