My consulting engineering activities (..helping design and build out America's cell/PCS/wirelessWWW system..) puts more than enough beans on the table to preclude the need to involve myself with the funded promotion of mini-micro companies.
I'll think I'll leave that to the childless, underpaid, layoff short-listed, social-climbing, Microsoft webheads of the world (..yuk yuk yuk yuk yuk..), and others whom like hanging around the pay phones at 7-11 with their TRS-80 and 300-baud handset modem waiting for directions from their MFMMM or resident stock-pimp.
Personally, the "..pennies.." are just an aside for fun and personal profit; besides - it 's too damn cold to go out and harass the bass right now. Although, if I were to assist Company-A to meet Company-B and a beneficial deal was cut, I would certainly expect a finder's fee of some kind. Business is business, and Mommie didn't raise no dummies, aye.
I do take great humor in the rampant paranoia and impotent venom expressed and/or expectorated by these "..disgruntled McDonalds Investor-types..", resulting from their "..my-very-first-MOMO letter-investment-failed-and-it's-everybody-else's-fault.." personal Jihads..!!
It's obviously a tragic and traumatic awakening for them, when they drop their cash off at Window-1, and then the clerk at Window-2 tells them, "..the BID price of their mega-Penny-burger just went down -0.001..", so they'll have to forgo the fries and the toy...!!! ("...Horrors..."!!) (Tee hee)
Clearly, these Barney Fife-grade nuts and/or buzzing gnats quickly reincarnate themselves as card-carrying members of "..Hillary's Volutary Protectors of the Witless and Uninformed Investors of the World..", and boldly set forth, in blind Quixotic extacy, spreading their drool across the Internet.
Some sort of defacto religeous experience, I presume. What a trip...!!
