If the author of your post is correct about sideways movement in the near future, that would present a fairly safe environment for trading and covered call writing. Having said that, I also recognize that even in an overall flat market there are stocks that will move substantially up and others that will go decidely down. I am hopeful (more like believe) that cpq is one of those that will head north, notwithstanding a sideways market. I know I have been dead wrong about this before, but maybe, just maybe, the street is coming around to the realization that cpq is not just a boxmaker. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
