By the way, the tax cut is pretty much supported by both the GOP and the Dems. The only argument right now is how deep those cuts should go, and whether they should be across the board or "targetted."

That's not true...the dems have to consider it now because dubya has made it a cause celebre.

And we are hardly in a recession, let alone a depression. Did you not see the employment/unemployment statistics on Friday? Dubya and his little band of economists like L. Kudlow are trying very hard to make it look like we are in a recession so that it looks like Capt. Amerika has saved us with his tax cut.

I wonder how many Americans are buying into that piece of work?
