The only difference was it didn't rot as fast. Gmo is also done through hybredization and been done for years. Way back to the Incas. You know corn was originally tripsicum dactylaides? That's a plant that has 8 seeds on the top of the main branch. I have some in my garden, and I have 200 acres of corn. They don't look very much alike.
