I saved an article from Barron's on my hard drive (Windows 2K). When I try to open that file, it still has to look it up on the Web. In other words, if I go offline, I cannot read the article. Hence, the article really isn't saved on my hard drive, just location is saved. In fact, it cannot even open the file if I am online for whatever reason. The file appears to be a CGI file, which might be the root of the problem. Does anyone know of a solution, short of cutting & pasting the article into Word file and saving that?
