she's still a beauty IMO. She had some sort of surgery a couple years back for some throat problems and I read that she will never sing again
THe part in the movie where the Capt is telling her to get lost and then he hears the kids singing to the 'other woman' in the house..he walks in and sees/hears his kids singing and he's just speechless. That scene is the peak of great film-making IMO. Still brings tears to my eyes everytime I see it. FANTASTIC!

ALso..I can't remember when a movie had truly great songs written just for the occasion.
