I don't think IBM is ever going to get it right when it comes to the operating system. I agree. Too much historical baggage, too much political infighting, too many cats to herd, not enough tough leadership at the top to reorganize them into a structure that properly prioritizes focus on the future (by which I don't mean Linux) even though the cash is coming in from the legacy stuff. Sun has many of the same problems, but a little gutsier leadership. --QS
