Atmel rode past 18 on heavier volume than that on which it eroded back under 17. That's a good sign. But market psychology is still being spooked by warnings, and chip makers in particular seem to be susceptible to bouts of inconfidence, if not incontinence. The Yahoo boards are all down, and apparently have been unpostable for about 24 hours. "Oops! Sorry. Our server is a little grumpy right now," we are told on yahoo. No wonder: the "dopey" spammers have been out on force, multiple mailing on individual boards AND across hundreds of boards. I'd be "grumpy" too. "Doc" needs to fix the spammers so they become "sleepy"; right now, they're all "sleazy." Oh. wait. That's not one of the 7 dwarfs. Cheers/turbi
