Levy, if memory serves me...
In your most recent writing of absolutely brilliant inspiration and eloquence (levy, circa. 2001), did I perchance detect a minor influence from a speech once delivered by a certain leader, in Sorbonne (circa. 1910)?
I do believe that it was that same leader who earlier in Chicago (circa. 1903) said, "I SPEAK very LOUDLY, because I CARRY A dinky LITTLE STICK."... Or was it the other way around? "I have a dinky little stick, so..."
I do know this for sure. He wrote in his 1913 autobiography, (perhaps predicting the early years of the Internet, as well foretelling to some of the earliest self-proclaimed "DotCom visionaries"), "Foolish fanatics... men who form the lunatic fringe in all reform movements."
And wasn't it another great leader who once said (portions may also apply to "professional" analysts & innocent investors), "You may fool all of the BOD some of the time; you can even fool some of the BOD all of the time; but you can't fool all of the BOD all of the time; unless of course, you personally appoint them all."... or something to that effect.
And of course, this unforgettable quote by some guy named Phineas, (who I believe worked with a lot with clowns), "There's a sucker born every minute."
But, as always, do your own DD, as I could be completely wrong on the facts.
