Dear QS: To be honest this Linux thing sort of confuses me. SUNW has Java, to my knowledge Java is either free or so inexpensive its not worth arguing about. It also is open source and it runs good from what everyone says, so WHATS THE BEEF? Why would people want to put a lot of money and time into developing an alternative, even assuming the alternative is as good?? JDN
