Dave, Is the Government any better? Let's take a poll of the residents around Chernobyl Which government are you talking about? Did you live in California before the auto emissions regulations were imposed on the industry? The marketplace has no means for reducing pollution, and in fact tends to sink deeper into trouble when left unchecked. i.e. "The next factory is more profitable because they spend less on waste disposal, let's do the same." Industry problems like slavery, child labor, segregated workplaces, and pollution have always required government intervention. The inherent conflict between social responsibility and profitability requires conflict between Government and industry. Scumbria
