Tim, Do you maintain that there should have been regulation forbiding anyone from using that land for any other purpose? In Boulder, we have taken action action to preserve the quality of life. Much of the farmland surrounding the city has been purchased and turned into County parks. Had the Government not intervened, this place would have quickly become a disaster like Silicon Valley. Offices and houses are worth more money than farms or parks. Because of this, the marketplace is completely impotent in protecting the environment. Scumbria
