CCB,

This paragraph has me a tad bit confused.

The amazing thing is that I kept checking my blood sugar last night, and it never got above 130, and when I checked this morning, I was still in ketosis! I have read that chocolate doesn't raise the glycemic index much because of the fat, maybe that's why.

How did you check for Ketones??
I have heard of diets where they encourage Ketosis, this different than when a diabetic is spilling ketones, indicating the person is intentionally burning fat stores, and the body is making producing enough insulin. Looking at your comment about still being in ketosis with a blood sugar that never went above 130. I am wondering, in someone with Blood Glucose levels on the high side, couldn't this be a dangerous situation??

<edit> I see mentioned in a later post that you say you are going back on a "diet" what diet is that?? I must have missed where you mentioned it.
