James...you really put your broker through all this? Have you found The Wall Street Journal "Briefing Book" sites? I dig up what I need there, and then when I'm 90% sold on an issue I go to Zack's Investment Research to see how the rest of the investment world feels. Then I'm either a buyer or I move on to other issues.
I have a question. On these threads I keep seeing trade-by-trade references...# of shares bought...the time...and at what price. Where is this? Pricey software? A web site I haven't found? Please post!
One final thought: in six months of pouring over hundreds and hundreds of stock charts...for what it's worth...CMOS has the breathtakingly prettiest I've ever come across! No debt...return-on-equity above 25%...a p/e below 10...net income at close to 20% in places...and a stairstep bar graph that moves relentlessly upward in perfect increments all the way to 4/30/96's .52 per share. If you look at it at its' Wall Street Journal site you'll want to stand and cheer. I know too little about them, but a big part of me wants to lay down my cash out of tribute alone!
