Actually Ashok Kumar, on CNBC this morning stated his belief that we've seen the trough Q already; that the semiconductor sector will start seeing better forecasts by 2H2001; that now is the time to buy while the outlook is gloomiest. I have little to no faith in Analyst projections. Ashok Kumar is one of the few with a prescient track record - in the PC sector when he and I disagreed on Dell - He was right; in the chip sector when he and I disagreed on INTC - he was right. Now he's saying it's time to buy chips again. I won't argue with him this time. Ian.
