what i meant was that both the buyers of the gold contract and the buyers of the bond are expecting negative things from the economy going forward, and the stock buyers are betting on a quick recovery. of course, should gold rally big (i know, it's moving in 2 dollar ranges every day, this is purely hypothetical -g-)the bond would likely get sold of course...
