I'm going to guess if you go back and look at LU (and I'm not going to take the time) that top line was slowing and QoQ growth was breaking down as inventories increased. In Cisco's case top line has been accelerating. Furthermore LU has/had more internal manufacturing, Cisco does most of their manufacturing via contract so much of their inventory build up is probably for alpha/beta customers and R&D as well as to support new manufacturing runs. You see FD.... it's not that simple. but the biggest kick I get - and it really is quite laughable - is your pontificating about how increased inventory improves earnings.
