Here is IR head Brian Bronson's response to my inquiry re the proposed Intel sales.................

"As it relates to Intel I will say first, and as you
can probably guess, Intel doesn't share their investment strategy with us.
I will tell you that we've negotiated a lock-up agreement on the shares as
a result of the development agreement we announced last year. So as long
as they comply with the lockup agreement then they have the ability to sell
no different than any other shareholder. Also it is worthy to note that
the lock-up agreement is for 3 years. I do want to reiterate that our
strategic relationship with Intel is very strong as we continue to be a
customer, a developer of product with them and conduct seminars on leading
edge topics.

"I would also reiterate that Intel's position was acquired via a
divestitiure of their multi-bus business to us in 1996. Sometimes folks
think it was associated with a strategic investment."

RSYS boasts a 85-90% completion rate historically on their design wins. Let's hope the recent tech capex slowdown doesn't affect that too much, if at all.

You're right, 3G is still a big question mark. But RSYS has the ability to morph into whatever is hot, quickly. They even have a design win for a device called ePort by USTT that allows vending machines to do credit card, smart card, and debit card transactions down to a $1.00.
