All that news says is that they're making a farce of purchase acctg. Does not say pooling is eliminated. Only sez they proposed eliminating it. but as i recall, FASB later retracted the pooling-elimination proposal. But now purchase-acctg. is equally toothless as pooling, everbudeez hapi.
