Ylang---There is no question that one of the main reasons that Gore lost was because of Clinton's inability to control his sexual neuroses. Completely unfair, but completely true--particularly in the middle part of the country. Check this out: Nebraska, Montana, North Dakota, and South Dakota all have one or more Democratic senators (SD and ND have two)--yet, in ALL of those states, Gore was beaten by Bush by more than 20% (and Nebraska it was almost 30%!). Why--the only answer that I can think of is that it was moral revulsion against Bill Clinton--folks in the middle part of the country simply don't live their lives like he did, and they expressed their outrage at the polls...
