EMC storage software solutions currently include 21 internally developed software products and 25 software products developed by other ISVs (independent software vendor) as part of EMC's open API program, which was formalized sometime in 1999 after IBM decided to make a big show of its commitment to the open source movement by, among other things, making its RAID controller technology - ranked a distant 3rd after EMC and Hitachi - open source.
1) EMC Celerra HighRoad
