Nortel Networks (NT) 35.31 -0.70: SG Cowen reiterates BUY rating and price target of $50; says based on our sum-of-the-part analysis, and current market multiples of comparable companies, Nortel shares are potentially undervalued by 40%. Photonic Comps biz could be valued at $35-64 bln, or $11-20 per share. Nortel's history of focusing on high-growth segments and divesting low-growth segments suggests that the Photonics spin-off
may not be the only spin-off, sale or other restructuring.
