DaVita (DVA: news, msgs) plunged 17 percent on news that the U.S. attorney's office is reviewing its billing and other operating procedures, as well as its financial relationships with physicians. The company intends to cooperate with the investigation. The stock is sliding $3.75, or 20 percent, to $15. The stock is currently the leading percentage decliner among NYSE issues. The provider of dialysis services said government representatives had stated that they were not making any allegations "at this time" and it hadn't been served a subpoena. Shares fell $3.25 to close at $15.50.
