Crowes Showcase New Tunes

Jagger, Moby among those at surprise Black Crowes gig

The Black Crowes took the stage on February 3rd in a former lower Manhattan club to showcase some new material from their
upcoming album, Lions. The band took the stage just after midnight for a set that included a number of its better-known tunes along
with some new material, including "Midnight From the Inside Out," "Lickin'," "Greasy Grass River" and "Young Man, Old Man."

Mick Jagger, Moby, Liv Tyler, Peter Frampton, Don Was (who produced Lions), Howard Stern and Goldie Hawn were among those in
the audience, and Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones took a turn on stage during "Twice As Hard."

Lions, the Crowes' sixth studio album, is slated for release in mid-May.
