JAPG,

Great post on increasing the value of a network virtually complete. However, your example of the wired telephone network isn't a particularly good one when viewed on a world-wide basis. Still today, too much of the human population doesn't have access to a land-line telephone. That's why wireless is so exciting, because the size of the network can be finally extended to include all people and all cultures. Using your three examples, nodes will be added at the same time that content and node connections will be improved.
