6 cents to 13 cents per kilowatt hour, far less than the 25 cents or more
the state has been paying on the spot market.

does he mean steal? this guy is a communist scumbag, ufb what he is getting away with

Yup, securing cheap energy for his state at the expense of the others. Not a lot of happy people in the midwest right now as we're getting our asses handed to us with each new gas bill. Of course we don't have "deregulation" Cali style, they can actually raise rates on us. And why wouldn't they? They are owed tons of money from Cali that they will never get back.

I don't think that other states are going to take this for much longer. It's just setting in, it's only been a few months of high energy bills. Wait until this continues through the summer and it becomes more clear what has happened and what is going on. I know the senators from MN are looking into trying to get something done, but these things will take time. I'm glad the Schrub is a believer in tough love, because the 54% of ignorant Californians that think this is a conspiracy against them deserve some serious tough love. It wouldn't bother me to see them get a little economic violence either. Last I saw it was up to $1200 per household. I don't live in Cali, but it sure seems to me like I'm getting had on this.
