the main point was the earthquake in India supposedly necessitating Indians sell their gold to re-build. well, that's old hat too. apart from which, we're looking at a 1000 ton structural deficit in gold supply/demand annually, and a few tons out of India are supposed to matter? ROFLMAO!! what a BS story!

the only SA producer to increase its hedging activities is Anglo but that HAS ALREADY HAPPENED. they are now short over 15 million oz. (they produce roughly 6,9m. oz. per year) and i wish them good luck! they are whackos!
