I got his side of the story through his friend/broker, so it's 2nd hand. When we spoke the stock was around $29-30 and I told him shorting it was dangerous because of xyz... of course we know what happened to the price since. So I haven't gone out of my way to contact the guy..;)... The shorter is a VC, so who knows how he got into the Amati story... maybe he wanted to do some financing and Amati didn't like the terms, or maybe Amati approached him and he didn't like the story... anything is possible... >>>Are they short on WSTL, too? I don't know. Perhaps what I'll do on Monday is have our trader call his broker and see what we can find out. later, Techie
