CWEI closed @ 14 7/16, +1 1/16, Bid 14 1/4 x Ask 14 1/2....Vol..38.7K A very good day for CWEI. Update from Marathon: The George Savelle has not yet reached the Reef objective. Mechanical problems were experienced while running the 7 inch casing. They are currently drilling just above the prospective reef section. Marathon (MRO) hit another 52 week high of 31 1/8 before backing off to close at 30 3/4 (a new closing high). Oil $20.10, -0.23 (CWEI received $19.38 in Q2 1996) Natural Gas, $2.15, +0.05 (CWEI received $2.53 in Q2 1996) CWEI receives a premium, for the liquids in its natural gas, on top of the stated priced.
