Now it has surfaced that the Clintons took gifts that were not intended for them but for the Whitehouse historical society. This according to the Park service that maintains Whitehouse.

Jim,

That same Park Service is saying that it was a misunderstanding and they are trying to straighten it out. The Clintons were told they could take those items by someone in the Park Service. The Clintons have also said that they will return them if that is the appropriate action.

I wonder why you would think that they would intentionally steal and jeopardize their reputations?
