Ahhhh.... Just the dude I've been waiting to write to after my leaving. <g> i'm a long time lurker. S.I. has closed down. My son worked there & everyone has been let go. There is no truth to that to my knowledge, and I'm unaware of any concrete plans for that to ever happen. Of course, given my remote location, etc, they could've spray-painted all of the employees blue and I wouldn't know about it. Now, for the choice words I've been reserving for so darned long: Ready? Sitting down? LG, I just want to say.... Thanks! We often didn't see eye to eye, but I've always appreciated you, even when we were just plain arguing with each other. Complacency is something I could never afford in this job, and you were one of the best at keeping me on my toes and on my guard against mediocrity in my own job performance. Though I rarely said so, your efforts were very much appreciated. Maybe not in the short-term, but definitely in the long-term.
