Tim, What Reagan asked for was all ready influenced by what the Democrats in congress wanted. Reagan was not a child, he was President of the United States. He left a huge legacy of debt behind him, and I fail to understand why so many insist on making excuses for him. He increased spending and cut taxes. The deficit exploded. His budget director warned him in advance. He probably should have been sent to jail for his gross mismanagement. Scumbria
