This is a good thread, it helps to read and talk about the psychology of trading. Your note about how a person can feel invincible after a series of good trades is very true, that particular " superman " pysche has gotten me into as much poo-poo as unprotected trading. Thanks for your responses- the money loss was significant but not unmanagemable and I did some positive trades today, but with more caution. I wanted to stay in CSCO thru earnings but head overrode my heart and watching the after hours action, it looks as though it was a good idea. Keep in the black.
