Strbe Re..you said nothing in your retort about the smoking gun report in there that they did on the Prudhoe oilfields.. of which the author pointed out all the disturbing pollution and evironmental hazards that had been created up there because of it... completely abolishing the oil companies claim that it was an environmentally firendly site.<<<<<

I read it but I didn't include it in my response because the damage did seem minimal. I really didn't see any significance to the expand drilling area part. 22500 birds is likely a small percentage of overall bird population and within several yrs. the bird population will increase once again to the amount the ecosystem can support. I don't see it as a long term problem.
