Rande - not to be argumentative - but:

Yes, SUNW's projections are common to many of the networking / hardware companies - but not to the Naz overall (nor to the NYSE stocks). That was one of my points about - there are better places to make money right now than SUNW.

I would disagree a bit here - while they both had the same downtrend from Sept - Dec - the Comp had the nice bounceback in January - and SUNW participated very little in it. I think there is a reason for that.

"I said back in the summer that I didn't like the company. . .and felt that the hardware end of their company was basically a white elephant. The only thing that is competitive is JAVA. "

Ok, so then wouldn't you agree then that there are better places to put your money that SUNW? If so, then we are both on the same page. But your initial post seemed to assert something different which is what caught my attention.

If I am wrong and you are saying you see SUNW as a bargain and it will outperform over the next month or two, i'd like to hear your reasoning why to see what I am missing. One can never stop learning.
