Go to RBAK's site and listen to the CC's. Quite illuminating. The IP over optical metro product is supposed to be out 2nd quarter of this year. If I'm hearing correctly, there's only 2 guys dominating the metro optical market, RBAK & CSCO. IMHO, the Smartedge 800 & newly introduced Smartedge 100 gives RBAK an advantage as of today. But the IP over optical would give RBAK a huge technological advantage. The above products have an estimated shelf life of about 5 years vs. 2 years for CSCO's competitive product. No need to do heavy forklifting for telcos when they go with RBAK. RBAK also raised revenue guidance for next fiscal year. If the IP over optical product is what RBAK says it is then RBAK could be a huge winner this year, especially from these depressed levels. The CSCO earnings report could hit RBAK short term, but I believe it is time to scale in. BTW, according to the RBAK CC, RBAK sees no slowdown. Anyway, I need to go back into hibernation and NOT spill all the beans. I like threads that are quiet which indicates most people have forgotten about RBAK or they think the company is going nowhere. That couldn't be further from the truth. Good luck.
