Bush and Cheny were both the CEO's of oil companies - Cheny one of the biggest. There is no way in hell they are going to allow market caps on oil or gas. Our culture has a laissez faire culture and the republicans fly that banner high. Bush and Cheny have the desire and weaponry to prevent even the serious talk of price caps - in my opinion - so it is sure to happen - gg. Besides, the argument that the only way we can reduce our dependence on foreign oil, is to allow prices to rise where they will ensure adequate exploration is absolutely corrrect and everyone knows that. I think they know that --gg.
