SI has been good: It provides a wide range of forums and the best depth in an area like biotechnology. Further it exhibits more class than most boards (except for the occasional nerd). The moderated Yahoo club boards offer one option. I holdout the SEPR board as an example. see clubs.yahoo.com I have book-marked at least 30 topics at SI and it is part of my daily research. I hope it stays around.
