something about "the road of excesses leading to the palace
of wisdom".

Thompson, had more contemporary missives about
driving at high speeds from LA to Vegas for weekends of
debauchery......oh and there are BATS figuring in
there somewhere.......now I don't know anyone on this thread
who lives in LA and goes to Vegas for weekends of
debauchery -vbg-

But since you live in Buffalo I will point out that
Bill Murray's most elliptical movie to date.. 1980's
"Where the Buffalo Roam" was based on H S Thompson's
"Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: In search of the heart of
the American Dream"

so maybe there is some bizarre Jungian synchronicity at
work here...maybe future justice to be MPH can give us a
ruling -ubg-
