jri, the markets get out of whack because of emotion, fear and greed, the nasdaq and the nyse basically followed each other into the mid 90's and really started diverging after the 98 low, this is just reversion to the mean.

i don't think it's done yet, as a matter of fact we may be going into a period where tech/nasdaq underperforms nyse stocks for several years, nobody believes this because of the leftover bullishness inspired by the parabolic nas 5000.

the bottom line is they hated 'ole eco's in march 2000 and the were enamored with "new eco's" in march 2000.

so i think we have to wait till that situation reverses, when they all love ole eco's, and they hate new eco's,

maybe again this march -g-
