I have not read any of this thread. Been busy at th conference. However, The Street.com seems to be agreeing with me:

"The above assumptions leave out net interest expense of around $80 million in 2002 and a similar amount in following years. Any buyer would have to honor those payments. For that reason, it makes sense to wait until a situation where Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection is declared, an event that will, of course, make the stock near worthless and possibly lead to a big reduction in debt.
